Who is this mentorship designed for?

This mentorship is designed for composers who already have experience composing, orchestrating, and creating professional mockups.You should be comfortable using a sequencer, notation software, and sample libraries, as the goal of this program is to help you prepare a competitive application for a demanding graduate program.

Does this mentorship guarantee that I'll be accepted to USC?

Accepted Answer

No. I cannot guarantee admission to USC. The USC Screen Scoring program is one of the most competitive in the world, with an acceptance rate of approximately 9%. Because of that, no mentor or consultant can honestly guarantee admission.What I can guarantee is that this mentorship is designed to help you submit the strongest application you are capable of. Together, we'll refine every component of your application—from your portfolio and essays to your video presentation—so you can present your work at the highest professional standard and apply with the confidence that you've submitted your very best.

I don't want to apply to USC, can I join the mentorship?

Yes! You're welcome to join the program even if you don't plan to apply to USC. Many of the concepts we cover—composition, orchestration, portfolio development, and industry preparation—are valuable regardless of your goals.However, because the program was designed specifically to help students prepare competitive USC applications, applicants who are planning to apply to USC are given priority for available spots.

Do you offer guidance on financial aid or scholarships?

As an international graduate, financial aid and scholarships fall outside my area of expertise. To the best of my knowledge, USC does not offer institutional scholarships for international students in the Screen Scoring program.However, two scholarship opportunities are available:USC Screen Scoring Scholarship (Top 4 applications):
